Como verificar o que está causando um aviso de resolução

In some cases, SmartAlbums will display a resolution warning on your images. This happens when images are being upscaled to fill a frame on your spread. Whether a resolution warning will be displayed is determined by the dimensions of your images (width/height) and the size of the frame that they are filling. You can view exactly how much an image is being upscaled by hovering over the resolution warning symbol in the bottom corner of an image:

While a little upscaling is okay, we recommend staying below 150% and never going beyond 200%. If you’d like to see why a resolution warning is appearing for an image in your project, you can check the dimensions of your image, as well as the width/height of the frame that the image is filling, in the Inspector tab under the Image Information tab:

Observando a imagem acima, você perceberá que as dimensões da imagem são mostradas em unidades de pixel e o tamanho do quadro da imagem é mostrado em polegadas. Por esse motivo, uma das duas medidas precisará ser convertida para a unidade de medida oposta para que as duas possam ser comparadas. Você pode usar um conversor on-line, como o Ninja Units, para fazer a conversão. Depois de converter uma das duas medidas para a unidade de medida oposta, você poderá comparar as dimensões da imagem e o tamanho do quadro da imagem para ver exatamente o tamanho que a imagem precisa ter para preencher o quadro sem ser redimensionada.

Observação: Se estiver usando Unidades Ninja e precisar converter o tamanho do quadro da imagem em unidades de pixel, o DPI do álbum precisará ser inserido na calculadora. Para localizar o DPI do seu álbum, escolha File > Export > Export for Print no menu superior e procure na seção Output Dimensions (Dimensões de saída).

Solução para o upscaling de imagens

Se a imagem estiver sendo redimensionada além de um valor aceitável, há algumas maneiras de resolver o problema:

Mova a imagem ampliada para um quadro menor ou escolha um layout diferente com quadros menores.
